...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inWisconsin...Minnesota...Iowa...Mississippi River at Lake City affecting Wabasha, Goodhue andPepin Counties.Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Grant andClayton Counties.Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Vernon, Houston and LaCrosse Counties.Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Grant, Crawford,Allamakee and Clayton Counties.Mississippi River at Winona affecting Trempealeau, Winona andBuffalo Counties.Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and BuffaloCounties.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding isforecast.* WHERE...Mississippi River at La Crosse.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flooding begins to threaten homes in theShore Acres area. Water begins to impact homes and businessesalong La Fond Avenue and Bainbridge Street on French Island. Waterbegins to go over the road at Copeland Park with some water intothe ball parks. Water is near the bottom of the Pettibone Beachshelter and water is nearly over the road at Houska Park near thewastewater treatment plant. Water also begins to spread intoRiverside Park.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.2 feet.- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 10:15 AM CDT Thursday was 14.2 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2feet early Tuesday morning.- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of14.1 feet on 06/26/1993.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
