Description
The combination of near-record high temperatures and ongoinghumidity will result in peak heat index values around 100 degreesthis afternoon and early evening across southern Indiana andcentral Kentucky. It is recommended to drink plenty of water, staycool during the hottest part of the day, and limit sun exposure.Special attention should be given to those most vulnerable to theheat, like children and the elderly.

Thegeneral public is not likely to be affected. Sensitive groups includethe elderly...children...persons with asthma or other breathingproblems...and persons with lung and heart disease.
